There are three RFA runners this Saturday afternoon (5th Feb).

Whistler's Betty moving back into Grade B company following her nice win last weekend, a return to action for Whistler's Miss at Derby Lane, and Whistler's Fine kicks the action off in the first race at Wheeling with his debut run for RFA.

Good luck to all Smile

Edited to add - I forgot one - we have FOUR RFA runners this Saturday - Whistler's Run competes Saturday evening at Southland.

Well Fine didn't really get into the race at all - I think he was the dog that ran very wide round the first turn.

I have it recorded and will try to get something up later, or it may be tomorrow. I'd like to see him in the parade so we can get a close look at him! Smile

For those who have requested photos, I am on the case, but it may be a few weeks.

I'm probably unable to watch the rest of our RFA racers today.

If anyone's watching the action and wants to update this thread that would be great Smile.

Otherwise, results will be posted tomorrow morning on our front page.

Sorry but I was doing a Meet 'n Greet this afternoon and couldn't watch. I will look forward to reading the results. Thanks, Angela, for keeping me informed!

Two 1sts, one 2nd and a 5th. Not bad for the Whistler crew!

I am very happy to see Whistler's Miss perform so well after her injury and subsequent rest period!

Whistler's Miss, while not winning the race, gave one heck of a run! The late rush was terrific and I swear it looks like her legs went into double-time as the Bahama Mama dog pressed her. Both flew at the finish with a lot of grit-wonderful to watch Speccy
I was hauling pets this weekend and had to watch the replays on Sunday when I got home...

Yes, it was encouraging to see her blast out of the hole and stride away from the field early. She's short, and will always be short. But other than a bobble on the 3rd turn, she seemed to be operating smoothly after what looked, at first glance, to be a bad accident.
