I can't speak for the others, but No Cover Becki has a couch waiting for her here, at home. If it wouldn't work out for her to come here because of timing or cat issues (which we are not anticipating), she will go through Northern Lights Greyhound Adoption to find her home.
When we approached NLGA about the portion of her winnings going to them, we specifically asked if it was ok for them to help her find her forever home if we couldn't provide it. If it comes to that, there will be an additional donation made to the group at the time she goes. If it doesn't, we will still have her come through the group for vetting since we implicitly trust their ability to properly care for a recently retired greyhound.

With her breeding and track performance, Indie might make a pretty good brood. Whistlers Betty will be bred and it's likely that Mandys Choo Choo will be too. The remainder wll almost certainly be adopted through the adoption group for which they are running.

Martin, that is certainly a possibility for Indie. When she is all done, with all of her other careers, the plan is for her to come home. I should have been more clear

Ok, good to know. I'm willing to bet there will be a scramble to get one of those dogs when they go into their adoption groups. In the meantime, here's to profitable, injury-free racing years.
