I've got a race recording here which you might enjoy. Not an RFA Hound, but worth seeing!

It features the 2004 win champ, Always Prosper, at The Woodlands. This was her final race of 2004 on New Years Eve. I was lucky enough to be there behind the scenes with her kennel and share in the excitement! Her race style is to come from behind with a late burst.

Watch for the number 3 dog (white race blanket). Hope you agree its pretty exciting!
Click on the link to view the race - you will need Windows Media Player in order to see it.

Rock, she runs ALL her races like that - which is why she has such a fan club, and why her races are so heart-stopping! LOL

Pretty, pretty Prosper! She has so much heart and determination. I just love her and hope to see her race in person before she retires. You go girl!!!

Just thought you might like an update on Prosper, seeing as I know many of you have enjoyed seeing her race recording!

Prosper has now officially retired (at 4 1/2 years of age, a long, healthy running career). She was nominated as an All-American and was made Captain of the 2nd team (very unlucky not to make the 1st team, IMHO Wink). She finished 2004 as the US national win-champ, and was on the cover of February's Greyhound Review.

She has now returned to her owner in Arizona where she will be a brood-mom. She is very much missed at The Woodlands where she was the crowd favorite, and in her kennel too, but I hear she is now settling into the next phase in her career.

Now THAT was an exciting finish. I was trying to see where she'd make her move and when.. and then BOOM.. on went the afterburners.

Will be interesting to see how her pups turn out.

I heard from a very good source over the weekend that Prosper is in season now, and will be bred to Gable Dodge! She's already at Alvin Staggs' in Oklahoma. That's a class place, and he's a class Studmaster. I've had the "tour" there and Miss Prrrrrr couldn't be anywhere better!

Can't wait to see those pups!
