What distance(s) are classified as a marathon in greyhound racing? 7/16ths of a mile, 704 meters, etc.? Do all tracks run marathon races or only certain ones?

Thanks.

Tracks can only run marathons if they are supported with dogs who are marathon capable. The racing secretary will announce that he would like to card some marathons, and then ask the kennels to make greyhounds available to him, so that he can put together some marathon races. If the kennels don't have marathon dogs, they must either get some, or there is a chance that the track might not be able to card any marathon races. Marathon distance can be anywhere from 703M to 903M.
