It's relatively new yet. No racing bashing, but no AR bashing, either.

Who heads up this board, just out of curiosity?

No idea. The mod is just "HoundTalkAdmin" as far as I know.

It's a little slow now, but I think that once it hits about 500 members or so it should take off. Right now there are 200 members.

It's another opportunity for education, though it seems most of the membership is from GT.

Hope the pace will pick up with all the new members.Greytalk is becoming more lame and boring everyday.

Don't forget, this site is open to any questions and discussions and there are some very qualified people available to give competant answers.

It'd be nice if GT allowed us to talk about everything, but they act as if their racing life is non-existant. at least thats MY impression. Its a nice site, but racing needs to be allowed, its part of who they(greys)are. IMHO that is Grin

The pace is starting to pick up over there. HT is up to 230 members and the conversations are starting to get past the introductions phase.

There are now close to 750 members on HoundTalk.

The gentleman that started the site did so out of his frustration with the BS that was going on with GT. He is a greyhound racing newbie, but is VERY supportive.

I think it'd be cool if there were more folks with real expereince with racers would jump on in over there and lend some of their knowledge. I try as best as I can with what I know.. and I know that Martin is on there often to try to help answer questions.. but, if people are relying solely on me... well... I don't know how wise that is. Grin

There are a lot of different forums on the board, but, there's definitely a lot of interest in racing.
